TeamAcme soared to impressive victories at the prestigious 10th Kepong Open Invitational Taekwondo Championships held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on 4 June 2023. Amidst fierce competition, the team showcased outstanding skill and determination, securing multiple medals across Kyorugi and Poomsae categories.
In the Kyorugi discipline, the team’s exceptional performance was highlighted by Cayden Chen’s silver, Muhd Sufi’s gold, and Torres Foo’s bronze medals. Yee Liming’s remarkable feat included winning both a gold and bronze, while Marvic Ong’s exceptional talent earned two gold medals, underscoring their dedication and prowess on the mats.
The Poomsae category witnessed an equally impressive display as Torres Foo claimed gold in the individual event and added a silver in the team competition. Cayden Chen’s debut in overseas competition was noteworthy, earning a well-deserved bronze.
This achievement is made even more remarkable as it marks the debut of Torres and Cayden in international tournaments, reflecting their promising talent and determination.
