The 10th Nestle Koko Krunch Junior Tkd Championships was held at Stadium Juara in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
STF fielded a team of 4 officals (David Koh, Lee Thiam Huat, Lai Han Seng & Jason Tan) & 14 players for the competition in Malaysia. Acme Taekwondo participants are Chan Jia Ling and Jolene Lua.
Chan Jia Ling category (Female 10-12 -Middle Weight) there are 9 participants, she fought 3 bouts and won the gold. Jolene lua category (Female 10-12-Bantam Weight) total of 30 participants, she clear 4 bouts but lost in the final bout to a stronger and taller player which qualified her a silver. It a great experience for both of them and the rest of the Singapore players.
The team overall won the 1st Runner-Up Trophy.
